Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) – our commitment to your security

The reality is that passwords just aren’t enough anymore. As a society we’ve had to find new ways to ensure highly sensitive and confidential information remain safe and secure. 

Your security and privacy are of the utmost importance to us and we take the protection of your sensitive data very seriously.

Two-Factor Authentication

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) will soon be a mandatory requirement for all users of the eBrief Ready platform. 2FA allows us to verify that the person trying to gain access to the account is who they say they are. Even if your password falls into the hands of someone other than yourself, the chances of them also having your second-factor information are extremely unlikely.

How it works

This extra level of protection is just a simple and speedy additional step when logging in to your account. From now onwards, existing users logging into their account can set up 2FA with just a couple of clicks. It will be an automatic requirement for new users joining the platform as part of their account set up.

We’ve provided two methods of enabling 2FA – via an App or by SMS. Both options provide the user with a one-time passcode to enter to gain access to their account.

Users who are members of an eBrief Ready organisation which has Azure AD enabled do not have to set up the 2FA measures as they will already be covered with their system’s log-in verification.
